The glass is high and steady at 1015, and Buoy 46088 is barely breathing — 160° at 1 to 2 metres a second, which is another way of saying flat. The Juan de Fuca forecast keeps the real west wind for Monday afternoon, so today the door's open and nobody's leaning on it. Water's still cold out there at 11.7°C, the way it always is off this coast, but that's Chinook weather, not a complaint.
Low was 0.48m at 08:18, and she floods all the long day to 2.68m near eleven tonight — a proper pushing tide that builds and builds. I'd run out to Constance Bank and work the flood, or slide over to Trial Island where the current sweeps the bait and the fish stack up on the edge. Honestly I'd pick Trial on the making tide — that's the gambler's ticket today, and I'll admit it's a guess more than a guarantee.
The Reddit crowd is all inland this week — Kootenai River, Stump Lake, Okanagan rainbows — nobody reporting salt. So no dock gossip to lean on. Just the water in front of you, and it's inviting.
